Jakarta Hajj Pilgrims will Arrive in Indonesia on September 7

The first group of hajj pilgrims from Jakarta is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on September 7, 2017.

It has entered the final stages of the series of pilgrimage

Jakarta Mental and Spiritual's Education Bureau Head, Hendra Hidayat expressed, the number of hajj pilgrims in the first group is about 393 people.

"According to the schedule, they will arrive at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on September 7, at around 2.30 AM," he stated, Friday (9/1).

1,179 Jakarta Hajj Pilgrims Departed to Mecca

He explained, those pilgrims who will return to Indonesia will be done gradually like when leaving. For the last group, is scheduled to arrive at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on October 6.

"The hajj quota this year is around 7,800 people. They are divided into 21 groups," he told.

He added the all pilgrims from Jakarta today have arrived in Mina with all the other pilgrims from around the world.

"It has entered the final stages of the series of pilgrimage. After Wukuf in Arafat and stay at Muzdalifah, those will do the annual jumrah (stoning the devil) ritual in Mina," he closed.
